The compilation takes flight from the jump with Steve Darko’s piano-laden, “Switch It Up.” A collaborative effort by Sacha Robotti and Kevin Knapp with the golden touch of “King Midas” follows Eli Brown’s jubilant touch to Fisher’s “Ya Kiddin’.” Meanwhile, Will Clarke twists Nick Monaco’s “Drama” into brooding madness,” and James Curd & KE “Play To Win” with their fiery contribution. Other participants in this year’s compilation include the talented Lubelski, Pimpo Gama, Lucati, MDE, and other DIRTYBIRD favorites.
DIRTYBIRD aficionados from near and far will converge upon California’s Modesto Reservoir October 5-7 to get back in touch with their inner children and enjoy the ride that is the annual Dirtybird Campout. With three years under its belt, the flagship Campout West’s fourth edition will offer the welcome addition of a lakeside camping experience. Guests will be able to cool off and enjoy an array of water-based activities set to the wild beats of DIRTYBIRD Counselors and a slew of the label’s friends, family, and favorites.
It has been the intimacy of the overall experience that has made the festivals a favorite amongst Campers - and this year will be no different, with campsites being just a quick hop from the stages and its various attractions placed closer together to make sure that no one is missing out on the fun. Not to mention, more activities to supplement current camp favorites of archery, kickball, tug-of-war, and beyond.
Turn on the music and get on the road - it’s Campout time.
